DOLLAR GENERAL HQ
Boody Fine Arts was retained in 1998 by Dollar General to assemble an art collection for their new headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. The 1 1/2-year process began with a presentation to the executives and staff to better determine what type of art collection would be placed within their new space.
Once goals and objectives were determined, Kentucky and Tennessee artists were reviewed for this project to represent Dollar General's past and current headquarters locations. Boody Fine Arts worked with museums, universities, and galleries to locate artists within these two states.
Dollar General's unique art collection is well balanced between two- and three-dimensional art - from acrylic on canvas paintings and black and white photography to bronze sculpture and their headquarters' location's historically rich craft tradition of folk art.
During this process, Boody Fine Arts assembled, coordinated, delivered, and installed a successfully eclectic collection of more than 200 works of art for Dollar General's Nashville headquarters.
